The choice of 'FIRST QUARTER' would mean Jan-Feb-Mar for the calendar year

If it is already June in the present calendar year, then 'FIRST QUARTER' refers to the next calendar year.

 

It's a good idea not to take ANY course in the first quarter it is offered after a significant update.  

Because HS 300, 311, 322, 340, and 351 are being revised as of October 1, 2011, and because it takes me (any author/teacher) time to get The Burnham System revised, I recommend you take some other HS course in the fourth quarter of 2011.
